The long-awaited aviation industry event took place on Friday, October 22nd at the New York Hilton Midtown. After a two-year hiatus, the evening was a wonderful reunion of Wings Club members and guests. Elise Eberwein, president of the Wings Club warmly welcomed all in attendance. As the evening’s program unfolded, it revealed many surprises both in heartfelt tributes and all around fun.
At the gala, Doug Parker, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, American Airlines Group Inc. was presented with the annual Distinguished Achievement Award. The award recognizes those who have made a lasting contribution to the field of aviation. Past recipients include some of the most notable figures in aviation history.
